The Survey profile can give the user the shape of a road by running the vehicle with attached sensors over the area needing reconstruction. After the shape of the road is gathered the software program can design an overlay or milling cut that will correct smoothness and crossfall without needing a survey crew. Designs can be made that will minimize the total tons needed and data can be gathered faster than using a conventional survey crew. The design can be immediately downloaded to the Paveset Grade Control system to pave or mill that design automatically.
