Hino Trucks unveiled at the NTEA Work Truck Show 2011 new Class 4 and 5 cab-over-engine (COE) trucks including diesel-electric hybrid models designed for the U.S. market, the 155h and 195h. Hino developed the world's first hybrid bus in 1991 and these COE hybrids use the sixth generation of Hino hybrid technology. The hybrids will be rolled out in New York, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas, Houston and California in December of 2011.
