The new DWP849X and DWP849 7-/9-in. Variable Speed Polishers from DeWalt offer a 12-amp motor and variable speed dial delivering 0 to 600/0 to 3,500 rpm. In addition to the speed dial, users can further control the speed from 0 to the specified maximum setting. The DWP849X includes a few extra features including a Controlled Finishing System (CFS) with soft start, three-position bale handle for multiple gripping options, ergonomically sculpted rear handle with rubber overmold, ergonomic two-finger trigger, and hook and loop backing pad.
