81 K Fast-erecting Crane
The 81 K operates only in the two-part mode (SPEED2LIFT), eliminating the need for re-reeving. The tower is raised and telescoped out with a single continuous erecting rope. This process is supported by semi-automatic quick-connection locking between the tower and slewing platform, and by jib guying rods. Safe, efficient load handling is assured by continuously variable drives. The pushbutton-selected fine positioning mode MICROMOVE reduces hoist speed to 25% for accurate positioning. Standard hook height is 85.3 ft. (26.0 m), with 11 variable hook heights available.
