The 68,000-lb. PC290LC-10 is powered by a Komatsu SAA6D107E-2 Tier 4 Interim/EU Stage 3B certified engine with 196 flywheel hp and an advanced electronic control system. A closed-center load-sensing hydraulic system uses variable speed matching to allow the engine speed to adjust based on hydraulic pump output. A new boom and arm design provide an additional 1 to 2 ft. of digging reach, while increasing arm digging force. The unit is equipped with the EMMS (Equipment Management Monitoring System) and the latest KOMTRAX technology.
