New Cat dozers feature hydrostatic drive and a new Traction Control system
The D3K2, D4K2 and D5K2 track-type tractors come with digital control features like Traction Control to reduce track slip, Eco Mode to tailor engine speed to power demand, and Stable Blade to smooth cuts when the tractor is pitching across uneven terrain. Cat C4.4 Tier 4 Interim engines rated 74- to 104-hp meet emission standards using the Passive Plus Regeneration system.
