The VP446 and VP436 46- and 36-in. walk-behind power trowels and the folding VP424 edger make up a new value-priced line from Allen Engineering. They're a little lighter — with the VP446 at 210 lbs., VP436 at 172 lbs. and VP424 at 122 lbs. — but built for reliability with Honda engines and cast-iron spiders, pressure plates and lift levers.
