2014 Transit Cargo Van

Ford will dramatically expand the configuration options offered in its full-sized Transit cargo van, the eventual replacement for the E Series vans. Transit comes in 150, 250, 350, and 350HD configurations with single or dual rear wheels. There are two wheelbases (130-in. regular and 148-in. long), three overall lengths and three roof heights. People who are 6-ft. 5-in. tall can stand up inside the high-roof option.

  • Three engine choices: 3.5-L EcoBoost V6, 3.2-L Powerstroke Diesel, and 3.7-L gasoline V6 (CNG/LNG prep capable)
  • Six-speed transmissions.
  • Ford expects fuel efficiency to improve 20% to 50%, depending on which power trains are compared
  • Left-hand sliding door available on medium- and high-roof boxes
  • Rear doors swing open 270 degrees on long-wheelbase and jumbo configurations
