The Cat 312E excavator features speed control which maximizes performance while minimizing fuel consumption. One-touch idel also reduces engine speed to help save fuel. In addition, an "Engine Idle Shutdown" setting allows the opertor to specify how long the machine should idle before shutting down the engine.
