Combustible Gas Detection System for HI 770XHD GD Heater

Wacker's Combustible Gas Detection System for the HI 770XHD GD indirect-fired heater continuously samples the air surrounding the heater for the presence of hydrocarbons and immediately shuts down the burner if even trace amounts of hydrocarbons are found. The two-stage shutdown system first reduces surface temperatures during shutdown and then shuts off the burner

  • Systems consists of gas sensor, gas detection system, engine air shutoff and strobe indicator
  • ExP-rated gas detector monitors and picks up all types of hydrocarbons
  • If hydrocarbon source does not reach 20% lower explosive level (LEL) the burner restarts automatically once combustible gas levels drop below 10% LEL
