516-42 High Capacity Telescopic Handler

JCB unveiled the 516-42, its first 16,000 lb capacity telehandler with a 42’ lift height at ConExpo.

• Stronger 3-stage boom, with a heavy-duty inner section and larger diameter, and 3.1” (80mm) lift ram
• Utilizing a hydraulic cylinder and chain design this system delivers smooth extension and retraction of the boom
• Standard heavy-duty JCB axles and 20-ply Titan tires, with three-piece rims, to cope with the additional loads imposed by the higher lift capacity
• Powered by a Tier 4i JCB Ecomax engine, delivering 109hp (81kW), and  a four-speed powershift transmission
