Tier 4 Final Industrial Engines

Caterpillar offers Tier 4 Final engines from 5.5 to more than 1,200 bhp that are equipped with a combination of electronic, fuel, air and aftertreatment components based on engine size, type of application and the geographic location in which it will work.

• Technology used includes a diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC), diesel particulate filter (DPF) and selective catalytic reduction (SCR), with a “No DPF” aftertreatment package available on select platforms
• Smaller models include the C2.2 four-cylinder, 2.2-liter engine rated at 33.8 to 61 bhp and C4.4 ACERT four-cylinder, 4.4-liter model rated at 100 to 173.5 bhp
• Larger models include the C15 ACERT turbocharged aftercooled engine and C27 ACERT and C32 ACERT, which use NOx Reduction System and dual DOCs with ratings from 800 to 1,200 bhp
