During an information tour for the international construction trade press hosted last week at the Liebherr-Werk Telfs GmbH manufacturing facility in Telfs, Austria, Liebherr debuted three new models of telescopic handlers in the 23-ft. lift height size class. The TL 432-7, TL 436-7 and TL 441-7 are being introduced initially in Europe, with hopes for global introduction in 2016, though no official launch date has yet been set.
The standard TL 432-7 provides a lifting capacity of 3.2 tonnes, while the TL 436-7 and TL 441-7 versions with lifting capacities of 3.6 and 4.1 tonnes. Maximum forward reach ranges from 13 ft. 1 in. to 13 ft. 5 in.
- 101-hp Deutz turbocharged, Tier 4 Interim diesel engine or optional 122-hp engine for use on steep grades
- Hydrostatically driven, electronically regulated fan
- Heavy-duty telescopic boom articulated at a point deep in the frame
- Infinitely variable hydrostatic travel drive
- 45% self-locking limited slip differential on the front axle
- Front wheel, all-wheel steering and crab steering
- Ergonomic cab with standard tilt steering column and single-lever operation
- Standard load torque limiter automatically regulates the speed of the working hydraulics and facilitates a safe approach to the maximum rated load
- 15,565- to 15,983-lb. operating weights with standard forks
