Developed to meet Tier 4-compliant regulations, the Bobcat S740 skid-steer loader is the first loader in the 700 frame-size loader line to do so. The S740 is powered by an engine that is under 75 horsepower and doesn’t require a diesel particulate filter (DPF), selective catalytic reduction (SCR) or diesel exhaust fluid (DEF). The S740 boasts the highest rated operating capacity in the under 75-horsepower skid-steer loader class, and provides customers with a large, powerful machine for working in all market segments.

  • Ultra-low particulate combustion (ULPC) engine and diesel oxidation catalyst achieve Tier 4 compliance
  • 3,100-lb. rated operating capacity
  • 132-in. lift height to hinge pin
  • 23-gpm auxiliary hydraulic flow with 30.5-gpm high-flow option
  • Cab-forward design moves the operator closer to the attachment and provides optimal visibility in all directions
  • Large, comfortable, pressurized cab with a choice between standard foot pedal hydraulic controls, Advanced Control System (ACS) or Selectable Joystick Controls (SJC)
  • Auxiliary quick couplers mount directly to the front plate of the lift arm to provide a solid mounting
  • Hoses routed through the loader arms for better protection
  • Redesigned cooling system allows for increased efficiency, easy cleaning and increased machine performance
