Weighing up to 5,886 lbs. (with canopy), this slim machine has a 9-ft. maximum digging depth with 5,778 lbs. of bucket digging force. Power is supplied by a side-mounted, 20-hp Yanmar three-cylinder, water-cooled, Tier III diesel engine. Rear-mounted hydraulic and fuel tanks provide easy access to all maintenance points.

Additional features include a spacious cab with a low height, two driving speeds, pilot-operated pedals and an X-shaped chassis frame constructed of high-strength steel.

Kobelco 17SR ACERA
Kobelco Construction is also expanding its zero tailswing offering with the 17SR ACERA compact excavator. This 3,638-lb. machine provides a maximum digging depth of 17 ft. 1 in. and bucket capacities from .88 to 1.55 cu. ft. It generates up to 2,900 lbf. of bucket breakout force and 2,158 lbf. of arm crowding force.

Power is supplied by a 15.2-hp, three-cylinder, Tier III-certified diesel engine. A "Smart Hydraulic System" fueled by three pumps ensures maximum power for simultaneous lifting, swinging and travel operations, as well as greater controllability for fine grading.

Adjustable track gauge enables easy maneuverability in tight spaces, without sacrificing stability when working. An in-cab lever allows the operator to move between expanded and contracted track positions without leaving the cab.
