- FLIR Systems announces the BCAM as part of its entry-level line of infrared tools which can spot moisture and mold in building materials that can destroy structural integrity and cause serious health concerns. Since the first step in mold remediation is to accurately locate and remove all sources of moisture, the BCAM thermal imaging camera can instantly image entire rooms, inspecting places that can't be physically reached with moisture meters. Unit fits in the palm of a hand, clips to a belt or can fit in a toolbox. A large, 3.5-in. color LCD displays crisp thermal imagery while a long-life Li-Ion battery assures uninterrupted inspections for up to seven hours.
