The SharpeSoft Estimator is a user-friendly estimating software for civil construction. Designed by a civil estimator, the Estimator's straightforward and intuitive approach cuts down on learning and operating time, to produce many more bids in much less time. Some features include: built-in sample database with thousands of materials, laborers, and equipment;on-the-Fly data entry of new resources or data; vendor cost comparisons for materials and subcontracts; automated email RFQs for material suppliers and subcontractors; automatic import and tabulation of vendor pricing from email responses; detailed labor calculations, including wages, benefits, burdens, and per diems; detailed equipment rates, including hourly cost calculations, fuel consumption, and operating burdens; "what-If" items for analysis of various scenarios; and automated units of measure conversions. Estimator imports from Excel, DOTs, and takeoff systems and exports to Excel, accounting systems, scheduling programs, and DOT bidding systems. It also exports to the SharpeSoft Field Reporter for job performance tracking.
