BIM was a central element to the library’s construction, allowing for scheduling and clash detection. The basic profile of a MonoKast wall includes a 10-inch wide header beam at the top and a 10-inch wide footing beam at the bottom; both of which are 3-1/2 inches thick with solid concrete and reinforced steel. The concrete shell is two inches thick, fiber reinforced, and is 5,000 psi code compliant.
