All Rouse Used-Equipment Values Rise 10% in 6 Months

The Rouse Value Index of Orderly Liquidation Values (OLV) for used equipment across the 14 major rental equipment categories increased 2.3% for the month ending June 30, 2011. For the six months ending June 30, 2011, average index values increased 9.8%.

All 14 category indices recorded one-month value increases ranging from 0.5% for AWP-Articulating Booms to 6.3% for Wheel Loaders. For the six-month period, index values for all 14 categories increased, including AWP-Scissor Lifts at 19.7% higher, AWP-Telescopic Booms at 23.2% higher, Excavators increasing 12.8%, Hi-Reach Forklifts up 12.9%, and Wheel Loaders up 23.3%.
