The Construction Specifications Institute's 2010 Construction Technology Award was presented to Jeffrey L. Snyder, CSI CCPR, co-inventor of the patented power trowel blade that has changed the way new concrete floors are finished. Dark burnish marks are controlled by using the Poly Pro blades on walk-behind and ride-on power trowels. The award is presented to an individual, team, firm, or organization, for: 1) Development or use of new materials, methods, technology or project delivery systems; or 2) Development or use of existing materials, methods or technology in a new or innovative manner.
