American Shotcrete Association Releases Sustainability of Shotcrete Document

The brochure discusses and identifies the sustainability advantages of shotcrete.

FARMINGTON HILLS, MI -- The American Shotcrete Association (ASA) recently released a new 10-page, full-color brochure that identifies and discusses the numerous sustainability advantages of shotcrete. The brochure also includes case studies demonstrating these advantages in both new construction and repair.

"The sustainability advantages of shotcrete are not simply theoretical or ideological; rather, shotcrete offers significant sustainability advantages that are solid, quantifiable, and business-benefiting items," said Charles Hanskat, Chair of ASA's Sustainability Committee. "This new document does a good job of not only identifying advantages, but also showing those advantages in real life scenarios. This is an important document for specifiers, owners, and any other individual interested in placing concrete efficiently and effectively, while also realizing significant sustainability advantages resulting from the method of placement."

Copies of the "Sustainability of Shotcrete" are available for purchase. To place an order, visit www.Shotcrete.org/Sustainability or call 248-848-3780.
