US Architecture Billings Highest Since 2007

AIA architect billings index rose more than three points to 52 in November; highest since 2007

The U.S. architecture billings index, a leading indicator of nonresidential construction activity, reached its highest level since December 2007 last month, according to the American Institute of Architects.

Its index rose more than three points from October to a reading of 52 for November, marking only the second time this year the index has crossed the 50 mark, which indicates expansion.
