PCTC Buys Out NPE 2010 Sealcoating Seminar

Contractors can attend Sealcoating: Regulatory Challenges and Industry Initiatives for free.

At National Pavement Expo, Feb. 2-5 in Nashville, the Pavement Coatings Technology Council (PCTC) is presenting the most-important sealcoating seminar this industry has ever had - and all contractors can attend for free. Typically NPE charges $95 per session but the "breaking news" sealcoating information in this 90-minute seminar C-21, "Sealcoating: Regulatory Challenges and Industry Initiatives," is so important to the industry that PCTC is sponsoring it so everyone can attend for free.

"PCTC has spent a lot of time and resources studying sealcoating issues, such as the impact of refined coal tar sealer on the environment, and they will be reporting their study results in this new NPE session," says Allan Heydorn, NPE conference manager and editor of Pavement Maintenance & Reconstruction magazine. "What PCTC has learned and what they will be conveying to contractors really lays out the groundwork for the future of the sealcoating industry."

In addition to reporting the results of its own studies PCTC will discuss the challenges sealcoaters face, the initiatives sealer producers are taking to fight back, and what all this means to contractors and their sealcoating business. Contractors also will have time to ask the questions they can't find answers to anywhere else.

"This is the first time any organization has ever done anything like this at NPE so I hope all sealcoating contractors take full advantage of it," Heydorn says.

Seminar C-21, "Sealcoating: Regulatory Challenges and Industry Initiatives," will be held Friday, Feb. 4, 2011 at National Pavement Expo.

Even though C-21 is free contractors still need to register for it. For complete details and to register visit www.nationalpavementexpo.com or call 800-827-8009.
