Technical Institute for Polished Concrete releases second version of specification for mechanical polishing.

Washington DC/Baltimore, MD- One year ago the Technical Institute for Polished Concrete released the industries first "technical" concrete polishing specification developed from a real world job site perspective. Today, the institute released its second version of the specification that focuses on providing consistent results from the mechanical polishing process.

The specification takes into consideration all of the controllable variables when processing concrete to a polished finish. It is written in a format that allows any manufacturer or specifier to easily specify equipment and supplies while maintaining a solid foundation for installation.
