WAUKESHA, WI - SmartCast by Spancrete, the first mobile precast production operation in the nation, announced the addition of Jeron Quincy in the role of general manager. Quincy is based out of Spancrete headquarters in Waukesha, Wis.

SmartCast by Spancrete provides a new way to construct using precast products with a mobile technology that offers both environmental and economical benefits. The mobile precast model involves developing temporary precast plants near a project, which reduces transportation requirements and fuel inefficiencies, resulting in reduced construction costs and lessening the impact on the environment.

"The U.S. is hungry for green construction solutions that are as environmentally friendly as they are economically viable," explains John Nagy, president and CEO of Spancrete. "SmartCast by Spancrete is both, so we are thrilled to have a leader on board who can educate and promote this exciting, new technology to construction professionals."

With almost a decade of leadership experience in the concrete pipe and precast products industry, Quincy is well versed in the sales and manufacturing of a variety of precast products and also brings extensive occupational safety experience to the position. In his new role as general manager, Quincy will oversee and be responsible for every operational aspect of SmartCast by Spancrete, including sales and engineering, manufacturing and field production, and personnel.

Quincy attended Central Missouri State University where he received an undergraduate degree in Industrial Safety Management and later earned a master's degree in occupational safety management.
