Mossville, IL - Perkins has announced the selection of SmartEquip Inc. to provide aftermarket support and electronic parts procurement technologies to users of Perkins engines in the rental equipment industry. The SmartEquip Network, to which Perkins U.S. and Canadian distributors and rental house end-users will now have access, enables key product support activities, including electronic parts and service procurement, safety information, training, and warranty servicing.
"Access to the SmartEquip Network will give Perkins customers in the rental equipment industry access to a field-proven, user-friendly system that simplifies and accelerates part ordering by providing direct access to the Perkins Distributor Product Support Network," said Perkins Marketing Manager Mike Reinhart.
