ROMULUS, MI (OCTOBER 14, 2011) — Kut-Rite announced today that they have agreed to acquire the rights to PathFinder Concepts' patent pending vacuum technology and the EdgeFinder Dust Shroud. PathFinder Concepts, LLC is a leading innovator of vacuum filter cleaning technology. The previous owners of PathFinder Concepts, LLC have decided to focus their resources on other business ventures and believe that the product line will be better advanced through the expanding distribution network of Kut-Rite.
"Kut-Rite's acquisition of the PathFinder Concepts technology will enable our company to provide a completely integrated package," said Rick Sollars, partner, Kut-Rite. "By combining Kut-Rite's Conquer grinder/polisher product line and PathFinders' vacuum line, we will be able to offer an integrated system to our clients and Kut-Rite will be able maintain complete control over the quality". Rick continued, saying; "With the return of Travis McCutchen, the original inventor of the PathFinder technology, we plan to maintain the excellent service for existing PFC clients as well as aggressively pursue new clients in existing and new target markets."
Kut-Rite plans to change the brand identity of the vacuum technology to KleanRite "reverse flow" moving forward. The KleanRite brand has been a successful brand for Kut-Rite for many years and already incorporates the private labeled PathFinder vacuum technology.
