IHIMER Spa was selected for the 2012 edition of the INTERMAT Innovation Award in the "Sustainable development" category. The company was recognized for its Carry 105 Electric Power product, an eco-mini dumper offering unique characteristics.
With an overall width of 690 mm, the Carry 105 Electric Power can enter buildings and negotiate standard-width doors and structures to gain access to hard-to-reach areas. The use of lithium-iron-phosphate batteries makes it possible to achieve high charge capacity, a high number of charge-discharge cycles, full power also with low charge levels, modest weight and zero maintenance requirements. Operation is controlled by an electronic battery management system (BMS) complete with display for diagnostics, continuous monitoring of functions and residual charge information.
The award ceremony will be held in Paris on April 16, 2012, during INTERMAT 2012, one of the main international exhibitions to be held this year in the building construction sector.
