JLG credits direct electric drive motors on its 1932RS and 3248RS electric scissor lifts (platform heights of 19 ft. and 32 ft.) with delivering "industry-leading duty cycles." Direct drive and what the maker calls "passive pothole protection" -- actually a pair of bars welded to the corners of the chassis, strategically located to support the lift and prevent tipping if a wheel falls into a hole or drops over an edge -- reduces the total number of moving parts to between two-thirds and half of competitive models. The lifts require only four hydraulic hoses, which reduces the chance of leaks.

  • Lift-off, metal side panels allow easy, durable access to battery storage and hydraulics
  • Both models can climb grades of up to 25%
  • Capacities of 500 lbs. and 705 lbs.
