The American Concrete Pavement Association (ACPA) is pleased to announce the formal release of AirPave 11 concrete pavement thickness design software.

This newest generation of ACPA's software provides the latest commercial, military, and general aviation aircraft types and landing gear configurations. Users can also input custom configurations for any vehicle, such as forklifts, cranes, straddle carriers, tracked vehicles, trucks, and non-standard aircraft. With this new version, users can analyze an entire fleet of aircraft or specialty vehicles in a single design run, to determine stress ratio and minimum required thickness.

The software is a robust and easy-to-use software design and analysis program, particularly useful for quickly evaluating working stress under load caused by various aircraft and/or unusual load cases. This pavement evaluation tool can be used as a supplement to the Federal Aviation Administration's FAARFIELD pavement design software. ACPA recommends that AirPave or any pavement design software should be used by engineers or other pavement designers with reasonable experience and expertise in pavement design.

AirPave 11 is available through two delivery methods. The first is an installation CD with a single user license. The CD and license may be ordered through ACPA's bookstore at: https://netforum.avectra.com/eweb/shopping/shopping.aspx?site=acpa_org&prd_key=6281fded-87dc-4cc5-ac7e-d7ce28f6addb.

The second delivery method available to users is to download the software directly from ACPA's website. This allows users the option to use the software free for 30-days and also allows immediate access to the software after the order is processed. The downloadable program is available at: http://acpa.org/airpave.

AirPave 11 is compatible with all versions of Microsoft Windows, including Windows 7, and both architecture types (32- and 64-bit).
