Concrete Polishing Association to Hold First West Coast Accreditation Class

Certified Technicians class will be held Aug. 23-24 in Arcadia, Calif.

The Concrete Polishing Association of America (CPAA) is pleased to announce their first Southern West Coast CPAA Craftsman Accreditation class on August 23 to 24. Students that pass this class are considered certified technicians and can then comply with the CPAA certification for polished concrete.

The class includes an extensive introduction to understanding diamond tooling, chemistry, equipment, concrete placement and finishing, and the polishing process. Additionally, information to help market the individual and company will be presented.

The training will be held at the OPCMIA (Operative Plaster's and Cement Mason's International Association) Local 500/600 training facility in Arcadia, Calif. Classes will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on each day.

Cost for the course is $1,500 for the first student and $1,150 for each additional student from a company. Companies must be a member of CPAA and can sign up for membership and the class at www.concretepolishingassociation.com.
