Volvo Rents Makes Used Equipment More Visible to Customers

For those in the construction industry, finding affordable equipment can be a daunting task. But who says buying construction equipment has to require tremendous outlay?

Not Volvo Rents.

Thanks to a recently launched section on the company’s website dedicated to used equipment sales, the worldwide provider of small-to-medium sized construction equipment is making such equipment more visible to customers.

“This is a large step for us as a company,” said Ed McHale, director of fleet management for Volvo Rents. “Previous efforts to make our used equipment more visible centered on local or at best regional advertising. With this new business development, we can communicate to a much broader customer base.”

The equipment ranges from excavators to generators, aerial work platforms to backhoe and skid-steer loaders, and is located throughout Volvo Rents’ network of over 130 locations in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.

“Our rental equipment is constantly rolled out to ensure that we have the newest and most up-to-date fleet possible,” McHale added. “Making our used and well-maintained equipment more readily available and accessible to potential buyers allows us to better service our rental customers with the latest and greatest in construction equipment.”
