The 2013 ICUEE-The Demo Expo announces new co-located events from the Association of Equipment Management Professionals (AEMP) and the North American Society for Trenchless Technology (NASTT), which will broaden the scope of industry education available for attendees to enhance their job performance and strengthen their company’s bottom line.

ICUEE, the International Construction and Utility Equipment Exposition, will be held October 1-3, 2013 at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Kentucky. AEMP will be co-locating its popular annual Asset Management Symposium, and NASTT is co-locating its highly-regarded Cured-in-Place Pipe Good Practices course.

AEMP’s Asset Management Symposium is one of the organization’s premier events focused on the latest industry issues affecting asset management professionals, presented by seasoned industry professionals. Topic areas can include equipment finance, telematics, fleet metrics, and Tier 4 engine emissions. Professional certification courses are also held, and the event includes plenty of networking opportunities.

“The AEMP symposium is a must-attend event for industry professionals seeking to professionally manage their fleets by learning best practices competencies of the ‘hot’ asset management issues that are impacting their bottom line,” stated Stan Orr, CAE, AEMP president and chief strategy officer.

NASTT’s well-known “Good Practices courses” offer trenchless professionals, both experienced and new to the field, an in-depth, high-quality learning experience. Topic areas can include horizontal directional drilling, pipe bursting, cured-in-place pipe, laterals and new installation methods such as auger boring, pipe ramming, pipe jacking and the pilot tube method.

”Trenchless technologies are continually evolving and these specialized NASTT professional-development courses are ideal for attendees who want to increase their knowledge and hone their skills in this growing industry segment,” stated Michael Willmets, NASTT executive director.

Returning to ICUEE is the H2O-XPO show of the National Rural Water Association (NRWA), with an extensive program of water and wastewater education. The iP Safety Conference and Expo from Incident Prevention magazine returns with an expanded education agenda for safety, training and operations professionals. And UCT-Underground Construction Technology is again a major contributor to ICUEE education programming.

“Education is critical for industry professionals who want to operate profitably in today’s economic environment,” stated Mark Core, ICUEE chair and vice president marketing and lifecycle management for Vermeer Corporation. “ICUEE offers targeted information presented by industry experts in a format that allows attendees to take advantage of the education they need while still having ample time on the show floor.”

ICUEE is held every two years and covers more than one million net square feet of exhibits of the latest equipment, technologies, products and services for the utility/construction industry. It is known for its extensive hands-on equipment demonstrations in job-like conditions.

Education covers underground, above ground and overhead applications. The show serves an audience of utility professionals and utility construction contractors in the electric, telecommunications, cable, sewer/water, and natural gas sectors.

More education details will be provided as the show planning cycle progresses. For the latest information on attending or exhibiting at ICUEE, go online to www.icuee.com.
