The Cummins line of 2013 on-highway engines include the ISX12 and ISL9 with up to 2% better fuel economy compared with the 2012 model year engines. The ISL G and ISX12 G utilize the same base engine and key components as the diesel engine but also feature Cummins Westport's spark-ignited combustion technology with Stoichiometric cooled exhaust gas recirculation and three-way catalyst.

ISX12 G
- Operates on compressed natural gas, liquefied natural gas or biomethane
- Ratings from 320 to 400 hp
- Up to 1,450 lb.-ft. torque
