Manitowoc's MLC165 lattice-boom crawler is a 165-tonne self-rigging crane that can install and remove its own counterweights and tracks without the need of a support crane. It is made up of 9-ft.-10-in.-wide modules for easy transport on the road. In addition to lifting capabilites that a maximum tip reach of nearly 340 ft. (with luffing jib) offers, the MLC165 is designed to facilitate general contractor activities like pile driving and moderate clamshell or grapple work.
