The Ditch Witch® organization awarded Detlef Kaiser of Germany-based Tramann+Sohn GmbH & Co. KG with the 2012 Lowell Highfill Award—the organization’s highest honor for sales performance.
Recognizing outstanding performance in promoting and marketing Ditch Witch products throughout the year, the Lowell Highfill Award is presented annually to the top individual salesperson worldwide.
Kaiser began working for Tramann+Sohn in 1993 as a service mechanic and was promoted to head of the dealership’s technical department just a few years later. He was promoted to his current role as manager of the purchasing, sales and technical departments in 2002.
“Detlef is ambitious and sincerely interested in the Ditch Witch products,” said Werner Nietfeld, dealer principal, Tramann+Sohn. “His deep industry knowledge, technical understanding and passion have built trust with his customers. Detlef is a vital part of our team and he truly is deserving of this award.”
With locations in Oldenburg, Domsühl, Spreenhagen, Hamburg, and Schönebeck, Germany, Tramann+Sohn has been selling Ditch Witch underground construction equipment since 1969.
