ASCC Produces Five New Construction Safety Bulletins

The bulletins inform ASCC concrete contractors on all aspects of safety, from establishing a safety policy to the proper use of personal protective equipment

The Safety and Risk Management Council (SRMC) of the American Society of Concrete Contractors (ASCC), St. Louis, has added five new titles to its list of  Safety BulletinsPreventing Underground Utility Strikes; Slips, Trips, and Falls; Report Workers’ Compensation Claims Promptly; The Importance of Proper Accident Investigation; and Safe Traffic Management on Construction Sites.

ASCC Safety Bulletins are one or two page papers covering a variety of health and safety subjects of interest to cast-in-place concrete contractors. ASCC members receive new bulletins free of charge. A set of 20 bulletins is available for purchase via the ASCC website.

The SRMC informs ASCC concrete contractors on all aspects of safety, from establishing a safety policy to the proper use of personal protective equipment. Other SRMC publications include the ASCC Safety Manual, ASCC Tool Box Safety Talks and a Safety Management Plan.
