ASCC will also offer the ACI-CRSI Adhesive Anchor Certification at this year's conference. Developed jointly by American Concrete Institute (ACI) and Concrete Reinforcing Steel Institute (CRSI), this new certification program has been designed to reflect minimum qualification requirements for installers of adhesive anchors in concrete. Recent changes to ACI 318-11, “Structural Concrete Building Code,” require anyone installing adhesive anchors in certain orientations to be ACI/CRSI certified. To become certified as an ACI/CRSI Adhesive Anchor Installer, candidates must pass a written exam and hands-on performance exam.

This one-day program will be presented by certified Ohio Concrete engineers and examiners and includes a half-day training session followed by the administration of the ACI/CRSI certification examinations. The ACI/CRSI Adhesive Anchor Installer workbook and companion DVD is included with program registration. Class, exam and workbook $540.
