The 2014 U.S. transportation construction market forecast, the continued showdown in Washington over the nation’s budget and debt limit, the scheduled 2014 reauthorization of MAP-21, the Highway Trust Fund’s latest financial solvency crisis, and local transportation project reports are all on the jam-packed agenda for each of the American Road & Transportation Builders Association’s (ARTBA) 2013 Regional Meetings scheduled for later this year.

Industry executives can register at artba.org to attend these events:

  • Western (Dec. 2-3): AT&T Conference Center, University of Texas at Austin
  • Central (Dec. 4-5): St. Louis, Mo., Airport Marriott Hotel
  • Southern (Dec. 9-10): Marriott City Center, Charlotte
  • Northeastern (Dec. 11-12): Hotel Monaco, Baltimore

ARTBA’s Chairman Doug Black, its chief economist Dr. Alison Premo Black, and its top legislative, legal and regulatory experts will all be on hand to address all of these issues and field questions from attendees.   Key state and local transportation agency officials will provide perspective on market opportunities in their areas.  The meetings will also offer additional time for networking and business development.
