Hertz Launches New Energy Services Facility in Bordeaux, France

The new facility provides large-scale power solutions to provide cost-efficient, reliable electricity to the industrial, construction, commercial, shipping, special events and utilities sectors in the south west area of France.

The Hertz Corporation has announced that Hertz Equipment Rental Corporation (HERC) has launched a new Hertz Energy Services location in Bordeaux, France. The new facility provides large-scale power solutions to provide cost-efficient, reliable electricity to the industrial, construction, commercial, film production, shipping, special events and utilities sectors. The branch is the fifth Hertz Energy Services location in France and serves customers in Bordeaux, Gironde department, and south west of France.

The metropolis of Bordeaux is the sixth largest urban area in France and has enjoyed growth of over 1% a year for ten years due mainly to positive net immigration. Since 1995, Bordeaux and the surrounding region has seen significant urban and economic change. This includes planning, installation, technical supervision, 24/7 support, refueling, redundant power, contingency planning and maintenance. The team also brings specialist knowledge in each of the sectors served.

Generators from 2 – 2,000 kVA, electrical distribution, auxiliary fuel tanks, and load banks are purchased from the industry’s leading manufacturers and are available for daily, weekly, monthly and long-term rentals. The full range of equipment includes: system on skid from 15 to 500 kVA, in container from 500 to 1000 kVA, on trailer from 1 000 to 2 000 kVA, Super Soundproof from 45 to 2000 kVA, on VL trailer up to 100 kVA, refinery equipment, and Portable Power light tower.
