Wacker Neuson's unique new one-ton 803 Dual Power Mini Excavator runs off a standard diesel engine or can easily be connected to an electro-hydraulic pump, allowing the machine to operate emission-free. The electric-powered hydraulic power pack can be tethered to the 803 Dual Power by a hydraulic line that connects to the undercarriage, preserving the excavator's 360-degree slewing capability.
In conventional operation, the 803 is powered by a 13-hp three-cylinder Yanmar diesel that the excavator enough power for breaking applications. When connected to the HPU8 hydraulic power pack, the 803 runs emissions-free at the same performance level. The Dual Power system requires 480V, 3-phase, 30-amp electricity.
Telescopic undercarriage can extend from 27.5 in. to 34 in. for greater stability and lifting power.
