The Concrete Sawing and Drilling Association announces new 2014 Board members, who were elected at the 42nd Annual CSDA Convention and Tech Fair, held March 13-15, 2014.
Six Board members, whose terms expire in 2016, were elected. They are: Paul DeAndrea, DeAndrea Coring & Sawing, Inc., Henderson, Colo.; Matt Dragon, Hilti, Inc., Tulsa, Okla.; Patrick Harris, Concrete Renovation, Inc., San Antonio, Texas; Kellie Vazquez, Holes Incorporated, Houston, Texas; Kevin Warnecke, ICS, Blount Inc., Portland, Ore. and Ryan Wesselschmidt, Husqvarna Construction Products, Olathe, Kan.
Tom Stowell, who served as CSDA President in 2007-2008, received the Lifetime Achievement Award, presented by current President Judith O’Day. This award was presented to Stowell during a special awards ceremony at the Pima Air and Space Museum for rendering over 40 years of outstanding service to the sawing and drilling industry and the association. Stowell becomes just the sixth member of the industry to receive this award since its inception in 2005.
The CSDA Officers, halfway through their two-year term ending in 2015, are: President Judith O’Day, Terra Diamond Industrial, Salt Lake City, Utah; Vice-President Kevin Baron, Western Saw, Oxnard, Calif.; Secretary/Treasurer Mike Orzechowski, DITEQ Corporation, Lee’s Summit, Mo.; Past President Jim Dvoratchek, Hard Rock Concrete Cutters, Inc., Wheeling, Ill. and Executive Director Patrick O’Brien.
Returning for the second year of their term on the CSDA Board of Directors are: Ty Conner, Austin Enterprise, Bakersfield, Calif.; Mark DeSchepper, Construction Solutions, LLC, Paola, Kan.; Matthew Finnigan, National Concrete Cutting Inc., Milton, Wash.; Mike Greene, Greene’s, Inc., Woods Cross, Utah; Greg Lipscomb, Diamond Products Limited, Elyria, Ohio and Sid Kilgore, Dixie Diamond Manufacturing, Lilburn, Ga.
