STIHL introduces the new battery-powered, TSA 230 STIHL Cutquik cut-off machine. Made for piece-cutting of concrete, reinforcing steel, brick and block, with a 9-in. diamond or abrasive wheel, the TSA 230 also enables cutting in enclosed spaces where gasoline-powered cut-off machines are not permitted.
- Wet cutting is made easier with on-board water connection and control which suppresses dust
- Dry cutting in dust-sensitive areas is aided by an available depth guide with vacuum adapter.
- Weighs 12.4 lb., with battery
- Fueled by a low-maintenance, brushless, commercial-grade high-torque electric motor
- Low vibration and the lightweight design help reduce operator fatigue and increase maneuverability
- TSA 230 joins a line of Stihl tools powered by 36-volt lithium-ion battery system
- Battery provides operators with up to 15 minutes of quality and high performance with no gradual drop in power
- Spent battery can be completely recharged in 23 minutes
- TSA 230, two batteries, and fast charger (AL 500) retails for $1,050
