Video: Be Sure to Use E10 or Lower Ethanol-Gasoline Blends

The Outdoor Power Equipment Institute's president and CEO, Kris Kiser, urges equipment owners to use no gasoline-ethanol blends greater than E10 in a national ethanol education and consumer protection campaign

The Outdoor Power Equipment Institute's "Look Before You Pump" campaign cautions consumers that it is harmful and illegal to use higher than 10 percent ethanol gas (E10) in any outdoor power equipment, such as mowers, chain saws, generators, UTVs, light construction equipment and other small engine products. You may see higher ethanol fuel blends, such as E15, E20, E30, E50 and E85 sold at gas stations -- and it may be cheaper. But those fuels will eventually damage small gasoline engines, and can even damage passenger vehicle engines built before 2001. Look before you pump!
