Milwaukee Tool, in partnership with Columbus McKinnon, has introduced the new M18 Compact 1-Ton Chain Hoist with One-Key. The battery-powered chain hoist provides the ability to lift one metric ton (2,204 lbs.) at 20-ft. lift height.
This new solution supports installations and mobility in application.

With a focus on reducing installation to a matter of minutes, removing the physical strain of a manual lift, and improving ease of transport from site to site, our new solution requires less effort at every stage of the process, allowing users to get more work done."

With a 60-ft. range of remote control, paired with an integrated variable speed lift and lower button, users are delivered precision while installing materials. The battery-powered chain hoist allows up to a quarter inch of chain movement and the ability to stand clear of the load. Featuring an inverted design, users are provided access to the battery compartment. Paired with an integrated Battery Light Indicator on the remote that notifies users when their 12.0 Battery is at 25% remaining charge, allowing operators to lower the load and swap out the battery. With ONE-KEY platform integration, users are provided access to interval tracking and record storage through the ONE-KEY App or Desktop.
Designed to deliver mobility, the M18 Compact Chain Hoist minimizes common challenges of transportation between sites and different rigging locations on a site. Weighing only 46 lbs. bare tool, the chain hoist is designed for transportation, coming kitted with a PACKOUT modular storage system rolling toolbox. Operators can roll the tool within the workspace and transport to other sites.
Developed in partnership with Columbus McKinnon, the new M18 Compact 1-Ton Chain Hoist with One-Key will launch under the Milwaukee Brand and includes the chain hoist, remote, two batteries, a charger and the PACKOUT rolling case.
