Sunbelt Rentals Sues Customer to Recover Debt

Seeking to collect on a debt of more than $88,000, Sunbelt Rentals has filed suit against Absolute Pipeline Maintenance & Consulting and William Lehrer

Seeking to collect on a debt of more than $88,000, Sunbelt Rentals has filed suit against Absolute Pipeline Maintenance & Consulting and William Lehrer.

The suit was filed June 17 in Jefferson County District Court in Texas.

According to the lawsuit, on Aug. 19, 2010, the parties entered into an agreement whereby the plaintiff agreed to supply the defendants with rental equipment. Lehrer signed a personal guarantee on the account.

During the months of July 2012 through December, plaintiff provided rental equipment. Plaintiff submitted invoiced but the defendants have failed to pay.

The amount due and owing is $88,908.16, the suit states.

The suit accuses the defendants of breach of contract.
