Aggreko to Provide Power for 2016 Ryder Cup

Aggreko plc, is providing power generation and temperature control for the 2016 Ryder Cup, taking place Sept. 27 – Oct. 3 at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minnesota.

Aggreko equipment will heat and cool, and generate power for a variety of temporary and permanent venues hosting 300,000 estimated tournament visitors, such as the 51,500 sq. ft. International Pavilion; 47,000 sq. ft. Ryder Cup merchandise shop; 24,200 sq. ft. media center; a members’ tent that will accommodate Hazeltine National Golf Club Members; numerous PGA partner and vendor tents; and the event’s opening and closing ceremonies.

The company’s technical experts will monitor the installation via the proprietary Aggreko Remote Monitoring (ARM) – a real-time monitoring and diagnostic service - to ensure everything runs to peak efficiency.
