After hearing from rental owners needing easy electronic payment options, Point of Rental has taken one more step with their eSign product, adding an eSign & Pay option. Users can now request contract signatures and payments in one easy step, converting quotes into reservations seamlessly.
When the coronavirus pandemic hit and rental businesses throughout the world were forced to figure out how to conduct contactless business, Point of Rental stepped up to help the industry.
The company’s electronic signature solution, Rental eSign, was tweaked so that it could work independently of Point of Rental’s software solutions as a standalone option - valuable even for companies that didn’t have any rental software. When many of the new signups asked what the company could do to help them collect payments, the development team sprang into action, connecting eSign to Stripe via API for easy processing.
During the depth of the downturn, Point of Rental made all of these features available for free, industry-wide, 90 days at a time. Through July 31, the company provided more than $1 million worth of free software and services to help support the industry.
