Recall: 2014-2015 Chevrolet/GMC Light-Duty and Heavy-Duty Pickups

Incomplete weld on the seat bracket of Chevy Silverado/GMC Sierra 1500 through 3500 trucks could compromise driver restraint during crashes

General Motors is recalling about 11,400 2014-2015 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500, 2500 and 3500 pickups that may have a faulty weld on the seat hook bracket assembly on the seat track.

The defect could result in unpredictable restraint levels during certain types of crashes, although GM is unaware of any crashes or injuries related to this issue.
