Jim Cuviello has been in the concrete polishing industry since 2002. He is the owner of Cuviello Concrete, a concrete polishing contractor in Stevensville, Md., and a founding member of the Concrete Polishing Association of America. Cuviello has been in the stone restoration business since 1996 and the concrete polishing industry since 2002. He brings the methodology and technicalities of mechanical polishing stone to concrete and brings a scientific approach to polishing concrete.

In 2006, he developed and conducted a training called Concrete Polishing 101. Then, a year later, he established the Concrete Polish Association of America now part of the American Society of Concrete Contractors and known as the Concrete Polishing Council.

He has written several technical articles for Concrete Contractor:

Chris Klemaske joined Sundek as Director of Commercial Development in 2019, where she continues her role as an industry leader working with designers, architects, and commercial developers on projects nationwide. Klemaske began her construction career 30+ years ago as an office administrator for Klemaske Brothers Concrete Inc. She recognized early on that it was a male-dominated industry at the time and decided she was interested in pursuing the restoration side of decorative concrete.

Along with her many career accomplishments, Klemaske is a champion for the architectural concrete industry and a sought-after industry spokesperson. She served as the First Women National Director for the Decorative Concrete Council of the American Society of Concrete Contractors, became the First Women President for the San Diego Chapter of the American Concrete Institute, sits on the ASCC’s Sustainability Committee, Public Relations Committee, and served on the organization’s 2011 Strategic Planning Committee. She has belonged to the National Organization of Women in Construction and previously served on the board of ACE and on the AGC Build & Serve Committee. In 2019 Klemaske became the first woman to be elected to the ASCC Board of Directors.

Dennis Purinton of Purinton Builders, Inc. in East Granby, Conn., has built a successful foundation, site work, and waterproofing business by taking advantage of opportunities to expand his company and implement new technologies to improve quality and efficiency on the work site. Always one to stay on the industry's cutting edge and share his knowledge and experiences with other contractors, his work and commitment haven't gone unnoticed - the Concrete Foundations Association (CFA) named him the 2007 Contractor of the Year.

We are honored to have these members offering their guidance and support.
